People often think it costs more to get their car serviced by a Dealership. But in fact, it probably costs less than you think. Because we are owned by General Motors, our technicians are trained to the very highest standard which means that they can complete any work needed on your Vauxhall both quickly and accurately. What's more, we always use genuine Vauxhall parts, which are built to last.
We will charge according to the manufacturers recommended repair times. So if the manufacturer states that a service should take no more than an hour, we will charge you for an hour, even if it takes us longer. Many independent garages will charge you for the actual time they spend on the job.
So be careful when comparing dealer prices with those of independent garages. They may well take longer to complete a job, may not service and repair according to the manufacturers recommendations and may use inferior quality parts. You should also consider the resale value of your car. A car with a full dealer service history is often worth more than one without.
